PDF to Markdown MCP Server

Connect PDFtoMarkdown.ai to Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, Hermes, or another MCP-compatible agent so it can turn a local PDF into structured Markdown on demand.

Install the MCP server in three steps

  1. Create an API key in your PDFtoMarkdown.ai account.
  2. Install the server with npm install -g @happywp/pdftomarkdown-mcp.
  3. Add the server and API key to your MCP client, then ask the agent to convert a local PDF path.

What the agent receives

The tool returns Markdown directly to the agent conversation, with optional OCR for scanned PDFs. Check important structure and values against the source before relying on the output.
